Since you’re here, you probably want to know me, and since that’s the point of this blog, I’ll oblige. Here’s my list of six things you should know:
- I’ve found the most frequent word used to describe me is quirky. I’m not sure why. If I knew, maybe I’d try to be more normal. Maybe not. Maybe you’ll understand why when this list is done.
- I think owning a goat would be the most hilarious thing in the world. I want to learn to make goat cheese. My husband, who grew up on a dairy farm, is adamantly against it.
- Since I mentioned him, I married a boy six years ago. I met him on a missions trip and our romance blossomed over Facebook chat. I call him Penguin.
- I drink hot tea. Always. Seriously. Usually around 200 ounces each day. My favorite, and the way to my heart, is peppermint tea.
- I am an introvert, and passionate about helping other introverts see their value. Also, about explaining to the world that introverts can be introverted and still have social skills. We’re not all brooding uni-bomber types.
- My life up until now has been devoted to helping college-aged women see and understand and embrace Jesus’ love for them. Now we’re in transition, and it’s terrifying.
This blog is about more than me, though, and I want to know you, too. What are the six things essential to knowing you? Leave a comment below!
